A gorgeous silver plated chafing dish by Royal Limited Silver. This is new in it's original box and has its glass oven safe insert. It consists of three pieces, the lid, glass insert, and silver plated stand. This would make an elegant statement at any party or special occasion. It is a wonderful banquet dish and would be beautiful on a buffet. It would be a marvelous gift for any hostess.
A chafing dish is a kind of portable grate raised on a tripod and used for foods that require gentle cooking away from flames. The chafing dish could be used at a table or provided with a cover for keeping food warm on a buffet. The word Chafing is from the French and means to make warm.

This silver plated chafing dish is in 'like new' condition. It is still in it's original box and wrappings. Only removed for photographic reasons.
