A gorgeous porcelain angel doll by Seymour Mann. This doll is from their Connoisseur Collection and is named Hope. The doll has a fine bisque porcelain face that is hand-painted and her clothes are highly detailed. She has gold wings, white ribbons in her hair, a lace dress, and she carries three children of different nationalities. She has red curly hair, green eyes, with realistic-looking eyelashes. The head, hands, and legs are porcelain and the doll has a soft body. Doll comes with its stand. This would be a gift idea for a collector or to add to your own collection. A great doll to help you decorate for the holidays.
Seymour Mann was a leading importer of decorative collectibles and giftware in the US for more than 50 years. His wife Eda designed many of his products. Mann founded his first venture in 1946. He is probably best known for his Connoisseur Doll Collection, introduced in the early 1980s.
