A wonderful hardcover children's book called The Cat In The Hat by Dr. Seuss. This is an 'I Can Read It All By Myself' Beginner Book. A Grolier Book Club Edition.
The story centers on a tall anthropomorphic cat who wears a red and white-striped hat and a red bow tie. The Cat shows up at the house of Sally and her brother on a rainy day while they are home alone. Despite the repeated objections of the children's fish, the Cat shows the children a few of his tricks in an attempt to entertain them. In the process, he and his companions, Thing One and Thing Two, wreck the house. The children and the fish become more and more alarmed until the Cat produces a machine that he uses to clean everything up and disappears just before the children's mother comes home.
Theodor Seuss Geisel (March 2, 1904 – September 24, 1991) was an American author, political cartoonist, poet, animator, book publisher, and artist. He is best known for authoring children's books under the pen name Dr. Seuss. His work includes several of the most popular children's books of all time, selling over 600 million copies and being translated into more than 20 languages by the time of his death.

This book is in Very Good condition. The binding is in perfect condition. There are no marks on any of the pages. The book has some light shelf wear along the spine and corners. There is a rub mark over the authors name on the front cover.
