Antique Sugar Bowl and Creamer, Aich Czechoslovakia, Floral Bands, Gold Trimmed
A beautiful sugar bowl and creamer set by Aich Czechoslovakia. The pattern consists of various flowers in bands around the top of the sugar bowl, lid, and creamer. This set is trimmed in gold. This is an antique set dating from the early 1910s. What a wonderful statement this set will make on your table, buffet, or sideboard.
This porcelain factory was established in Aich near Karlsbad (now Doubi) by Johan Möhling in 1849. The factory produced mostly porcelain figurines. It was also the first to produce porcelain coins - surrogate money used during economic crises. In the beginning of the 1860s, it was bought by A.C. Anger. Next owners were Menzel & Co (1918 - 1923). In 1923 the factory became a part of EPIAG group. In 1933 it was closed.

Date of Actual Manufacture: 1918-1923
This sugar bowl and creamer are in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. They do have rubbing of the gold trim due to age and being used. This set is over 100 years old.
A perfect set for a holiday or special occasion. A great gift for someone who has a love of antique china.
