A beautiful genuine leather crocodile top handle bag by Coquette New York. This bag is from the 1950s. The bag sits on four metal feet and has a gold buckle embellishment. It also has a soft leather interior with a zipper compartment on one side. This would be a perfect addition to any outfit. A great gift idea.

This bag is in excellent condition. The kiss lock closure works perfectly. Its inside lining has no rips or tears but there are ink marks on the inside of the bag. The ink markings are quite pronounced on one side of the bag. (Looks like someone put a wet newspaper or such, on the inside of the bag and the ink transferred to the bag. (Please see photos). The outside leather has no marks or scratches and shows no signs of wear. The gold metal frame does have some tarnishing from age which is normal for a bag of this age and gives it character. This bag is approximately 70 years old. Just a great bag looking for a new home.
Would make a great gift idea for a special occasion or holiday.
