A charming set of two fruit/dessert bowls by Universal China. The company was located in Cambridge, Ohio. The pattern is called Poppy and consists of a poppies and purple flowers on one side of the inside of the bowl with gold trim on rim. This set of bowls would make great replacement pieces. These would look lovely on any dining room table, buffet table, or side table. Unique and versatile bowls with the grace from a bygone age. These are from the 1940s.

These bowls are in great condition. There are no chips, utensil marks, or cracks. They do have light crazing, small brown spots, and one bowl does have some missing gold (see photos) from years of being loved and used.
