A lovely set of four saucers made by Johnson Brothers in the Sheraton pattern. These are in the Regency shape and have a floral center. This set of saucers would make wonderful replacement pieces, start of a new set, or great small dishes for any use.
Johnson Brothers Co. was founded in 1883 by Frederick and Alfred Johnson. By 1888, Frederick and Alfred’s elder brother, Henry, had joined the company, which produced its wares in a factory called the Charles Street Works in Stoke-on-Trent. During the 1920s, a new colored clay called “Dawn” was introduced—it came in gray, rose, green, and gold. This has become highly collectible today. Finally, in 1968, unable to remain independent any longer, Johnson Brothers joined the Wedgwood Group.

Three of these are in excellent condition and one is in very good condition. Three plates have no chips, cracks or crazing. One plate has no chips or cracks but does have crazing on its back side.
