An antique porcelain chamber pot by K. T. & K (Knowles Taylor Knowles). This pot has a rose design with large floral designs on it's sides and a smaller one on front. It is trimmed with gold. A chamber pot (also called a Thunder Pot or Potty) is a bowl-shaped container with one handle. Some have a lid, and some do not. They were kept in the bedroom under the bed or in a nightstand cabinet and used as a toilet at night. Today they are a great addition to your bathroom or bedroom decor. They also can be used as a unique planter.
Knowles, Taylor & Knowles (KT&K) was a pottery company in East Liverpool, Ohio from 1854 to 1931. The company produced all types of wares including yellow ware, ironstone, and semi-vitreous porcelain.

This chamber pot is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. There is rubbing on the gold which is normal for a pot of this age. It dates from the 1890s, making it approximately 130 years old.
This would be perfect for a collector or as a display piece.
