Sarah Coventry Necklace, Spice Island, Teardrop Shape, Gold Tone, Costume Jewelry, Woman's Gift
A gorgeous Sarah Coventry necklace from 1978, aptly named "Spice Island". Crafted with attention to detail, this necklace features a charming teardrop-shaped pendant adorned with a captivating rust-colored stone, reminiscent of the rich hues of cinnamon or nutmeg. Delicately intertwined with a gold-tone leaf motif, it exudes a subtle allure that effortlessly captures attention. Its classic design and warm tones evoke a sense of nostalgia while remaining effortlessly chic. Treat yourself or a loved one to this exquisite piece, perfect for any occasion.
Founded in 1949 by Charles Stuart, who named his costume-jewelry company after his granddaughter, Sarah Coventry. Unlike its competitors, Sarah Coventry did not focus on getting prime counter space in department stores or selling its wares to Hollywood movie stars. Stuart’s approach was more grassroots, using house parties. Today, its pieces from the 1960s and ’70s are especially prized by collectors.

Note: Due to the vintage nature of this item, minor imperfections may be present, adding to its unique character and charm.
This is in very good condition. The gold is shiny and bright, and the C-Clasp closure works perfectly. Where the chain attaches to the pendant there is some missing gold tone and rubbing to the front of the pendant. Our price reflects these imperfections.
