"Celebrate", china made in Germany is a type of lusterware produced during the 1930s for the American importer George Borgfeldt & Co., a trading company based in New York. Lusterware is characterized by its iridescent glaze, which gives it a shiny, metallic finish. These pieces are often marked with "CELEBRATE Registered Made in Germany" in green lettering as this one is.
