This vintage salt shaker was made by Libbey of Canada and features a classic octagon shape in thick, clear glass. It stands 3 inches tall and measures 1½ inches in diameter. The stainless-steel lid is marked “Stainless Steel” and fits securely. A familiar style found in mid-century diners and home kitchens, this piece dates from around the 1950s to 1970s. It’s sturdy, simple, and made to last—just like kitchenware used to be. Stamped “Libbey of Canada” on the bottom, this shaker works well for everyday use or display in a vintage kitchen. No chips or cracks. The lid screws on and off with ease and shows only light surface wear from age. This could also hold cinnamon sugar, maple sugar, or other powdered or small granular condiments. Would also make a great replacement piece or addition to a set.
