Two Handled Serving Bowl, Footed, Taylor Smith Taylor
A wonderful two handled footed serving bowl by Taylor Smith Taylor. The pattern number is 1169 is a platinum design on the rim on an off white bowl. This bowl would be a great serving piece for anything from fruit to vegetables. This wonderful bowl is perfect for a buffet table, sideboard, or making a dinner table statement. A stylish and versatile serving bowl with the grace from a bygone age. This pattern of china is from the 1930s.
Taylor, Smith & Taylor Company was in operation from 1900 until 1981 in Chester, West Virginia. The original owners were: Colonel John N. Talyor, C.A. Smith, Joseph G. Lee, Albert G. Mason, and William L. Smith.

This vintage bowl is in very good condition. There are no chips or cracks. There is crazing on the inside of the bowl and on the foot. There is also rubbing on the platinum design. This is to be expected on a bowl of this age.
