A beautiful sugar bowl and creamer by Sango China and made in Occupied Japan. The pattern is called Floradel and is different multicolored flowers. This is old china and it is very ornate and lovely. What a wonderful statement this set will make on your table, buffet, or sideboard. They would also make a wonderful display or replacement pieces.
Many items being exported from Japan from 1945 to 1952 were required by law to be marked with the words “Occupied Japan”, or “Made in Occupied Japan”. General Douglas MacArthur started this to help Japanese people with their post-war economic recovery.

This sugar bowl and creamer are from the 1940s. The creamer is in excellent condition. No chips cracks or crazing. There is very little wear to the gold. The sugar bowl is in very good condition. There are no cracks or crazing but there is a tiny chip on the lid (See Photo 5) and our price reflects this.
A perfect set for a holiday or special occasion.
