A gorgeous set of 5 lusterware demitasse portrait cups and saucers. These were made in Japan and are stamped in gold on the bottom. They are white with a blue band, centered portrait, and gold design with gold brushing on the edges. The portrait is of a man and woman strolling. This set would be perfect for an afternoon tea. A great way to serve afternoon coffee or espresso on the veranda.
A demitasse is a small cup used to serve Turkish coffee or espresso. Demitasse is the French word for half cup.
