Cup and Saucer, Syracuse China, Restaurant Grade, White with Green Pattern
A wonderful Syracuse China cup and saucer. The pattern is a line design with a straight line around the rim of the cup and saucer. This would be a great cup to start your day with. Perfect for coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. Heavy enough for use on a patio or deck or even as a cup to keep at your desk.
Syracuse China was located in Syracuse, New York. It was founded in 1871 as Onondaga Pottery Company in the town of Geddes, New York. In the late 19th century, Onondaga Pottery began producing fine china, for which it found a strong market particularly in hotels, restaurants, and railroad dining cars. The manufacturing facility in Syracuse closed in 2009, after 138 years of operation.
