A lovely set of 6 dinner plates by Thomas Bavaria. These plates have a yellow rose floral pattern. The marking on these plates dates them from 1908 to 1939. What a great way to own a piece of the past. This set of plates would be a charming addition to any dining table, sideboard, or buffet table. Thomas China is highly collectible.
The first porcelain factory in the town of Marktredwitz opened in the year 1872 and was known under the name of Jaeger, Thomas & Co. Fritz Thomas decided to quit in 1898 and open his own factory in 1903. Thomas closed in 1977.

These plates are in very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. Due to their age and being loved over the years there are some utensil marks. There is also considerable rubbing to the gold trim and the rose pattern on the plate's verge.
