Oval Platter, Thomas Bavaria, Yellow Rose, Floral Pattern, 13 Inch, Collectible
A lovely oval platter by Thomas Bavaria. This platter has a yellow rose floral pattern, The marking on this platter dates it from 1908 - 1939. It will be a great way to own a piece of the past. It would be a charming addition to any dining table, sideboard, or buffet table. Thomas is highly collectible.
The first porcelain factory in the town of Marktredwitz opened in the year 1872 and was known under the name of Jaeger, Thomas & Co. Fritz Thomas decided to quit in 1898 and open his own factory in 1903. Thomas closed in 1977.

This platter is in very good condition. There are no cracks or crazing. There is one small chip on the edge, please see photo 5. Due to its age and being loved over the years there are some utensil marks.
