A wonderful aqua antique bottle with a flat applied lip. This is Dr. D. Kennedy's Favorite Remedy, Kingston, New York. The bottle is from circa 1890. It would be an ideal addition to a pharmaceutical bottle collection. A great gift idea for a collector.
This patent medicine contained 18.4% alcohol. It was a medicine for purifying the blood. It claimed to restore or cure a disordered liver, constipation, weaknesses peculiar to females, attacks from the change of the seasons, eruptive skin diseases, pain in the bones, and the unpleasant and dangerous effects on the system produced by the use of whiskey, wine or beer. The names of the diseases listed that this patent medicine would be useful for were: Rheumatism, Dyspepsia, Ulceration of the Kidneys and Bladder; Gravel, Diabetes, and all Urinary Deposits. It was said to restore and give strength to the body's system.

This bottle is in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks. The bottle has a raised bottom and there is bubbles in the glass from the manufacturing process.
