Antique Large Platter, TST, Taylor Smith Taylor, Pastel Pink, Floral, Platinum Trimmed, Rectangular Serving Platter, Hard To Find, Collectible

A beautiful large rectangular serving platter by Taylor Smith Taylor. It was made in the USA and has a beautiful floral pattern and platinum trim on a pastel pink background. This is an antique dating in the early 1900s and is a hard to find item thus making it highly collectible. This platter would look marvelous on a dinner table, buffet or sideboard. It would also make a great display piece.

Taylor, Smith & Taylor Company was in operation from 1900 until 1981 in Chester, West Virginia. The original owners were: Colonel John N. Talyor, C.A. Smith, Joseph G. Lee, Albert G. Mason, and William L. Smith.

Size:
15 1/2 inches in length
11 3/4 inches in width

This is a very old platter in excellent condition. There are no chips cracks or crazing. There are some utensil marks and rubbing of the platinum trim. This is normal for a platter of this age. There is a mark in the platter that looks like a small chip in the photos (circled in one photo) but this is not a chip. It is a manufacturer defect and you will notice that it was glazed over when this was made.
