A gorgeous porcelain doll by Seymour Mann. This doll is from their Connoisseur Collection and is named Consuela. The doll has a fine bisque porcelain face that is hand-painted and her clothes are highly detailed. The dress is Victorian and consists of a white lace dress with a cream-colored hat and ribbon belt. She has brown curly hair, brown eyes, with realistic-looking eyelashes. The head, hands, and legs are porcelain and the doll has a soft body. Doll comes with its stand. This would be a gift idea for a collector or to add to your own collection.
Seymour Mann was a leading importer of decorative collectibles and giftware in the US for more than 50 years. His wife Eda designed many of his products. Mann founded his first venture in 1946. He is probably best known for his Connoisseur Doll Collection, introduced in the early 1980s.
