A gorgeous antique cake plate made by P. K. Silesia. This dessert plate has white roses, embossed edge, gold trim and scalloped outer edge. This cake plate would be perfect for display in a china or curio cabinet. A great plate for serving homemade desserts and cookies.
P. K. stands for Porzellanfabrik Koenigszelt. Porzellanfabrik is German for “porcelain factory.” Koenigszelt is the town near where the factory is located, in Silesia in northeastern Germany. The company was founded in 1860 and is still in existence today.

This cake plate is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. There is minor wear to the gold which is to be expected of china of this age. This is approximately 100 years old. The back stamp dates this between 1914-1922 and is a tent which was used for only a short period of time by this company.
This is a fantastic plate for the collector. It would make a marvelous gift for a wedding, housewarming, holiday, or special occasion.
