A beautiful set of 3 gravy boats by Buffalo China. It is in the Blue Willow pattern that consists of a tea house, three figures on a bridge, a person in a boat, two birds, and a zig-zag fence. This is transferware in blue and white. Blue and White china is highly collectible as is the Blue Willow pattern. These are restaurant grade china from the 1930s and they are very heavy. These boats would be perfect for serving gravies, sauces, salsas, and more. These would perfect for your table, sideboard, or buffet. Fantastic for a party with a long dining table or more than one table.
The Buffalo Pottery Company was established in Buffalo, New York, in 1901. It was an offshoot of the Larkin Soap Company, which was founded in 1875. John Larkin and Elbert Hubbard conceived Buffalo Pottery to make dishes that could be purchased with certificates from Larkin Soap. Buffalo Pottery produced many different kinds of pottery for commercial use in hotels and railroad dining cars, as well as art pottery that is popular with antique collectors.
