A lovely luncheon plate by Royal Standard. It is in the Scots Emblem pattern. There is lavender thistle on two sides of the plate and it is trimmed with gold. This is beautiful fine bone china. This plate is a wonderful replacement piece. It would also make a great display plate.
Royal Standard was a trademark used on English china made by a pottery company called Chapmans Longton Ltd. This company was among the famous Staffordshire pottery companies, and based at Albert Works, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. Longton was a center of pottery making from the mid-1700s.

8 1/4 inches in diameter
The plate is in very good condition. There are no chips cracks or crazing. The gold trim has a lot of rubbing and there are utensil marks. Our price reflects these imperfections.
