A beautiful large platter by Homer Laughlin. The pattern is N1489 featuring small rose bouquets. The shape of this set is called Eggshell Nautilus. The color of this platter is a light cream but in some of our photos due to lighting, it looks white. This lovely platter would make a grand statement on a table, buffet, or sideboard. It is dated (using Homer Laughlin Date Codes) at May 1937.

This platter is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. There is rubbing to the gold trim and also utensil marks. This is to be expected for fine china of this age. This platter is 81 years old.
