A beautiful wooden jewelry box by Mele. The top opens and has a mirror which can be pulled out and attached to the front edge. When not in use a magnet holds the mirror to the lid. Under the top has four even compartments. The first pull drawer has four compartments with a ring roll to one side. Second pull drawer has no compartments. It is made from hardwood in a Walnut Finish. This jewelry box is very elegant and classic. A style that never goes out of style. A fantastic box for yourself or as a gift.
The company was founded by Emidio Mele. After he learned his trade of crafting designer jewelry display cases, he decided to start his own company in 1912. They are a family-owned company that is over 100 years old.

This box is in great condition. It is a used box and as such it has a small mark on the top. There is rubbing along the back edge. The drawer's ivory lining has a few small stains.
