A wonderful children's hardcover book called Jimmy's Boa Bounce's Back. This fictional book is beautifully illustrated by Steven Kellogg. Age Range 2 - 7. For the very young child, it would be a wonderful read to me and picture book.

Imagination and hilarity abound in this unique story of a women's garden party attended by a boa constrictor. Humorous illustrations with delightful details complete this tale of nonsense.

Trinka Hakes Noble Born: October 8, 1944
Noted picture book author and illustrator Trinka Hakes Noble has pursued the study of children's book writing and illustrating in New York City at Parsons School of Design, the New School University, Caldecott medalist Uri Shulevitz's Greenwich Village Workshop, and New York University. She has authored and illustrated numerous books, including the popular Jimmy's Boa series, which has been translated into six languages. Trinka lives in Bernardsville, New Jersey. The Scarlet Stockings Spy is her first book with Sleeping Bear Press.

This book is in Very Good condition. Binding is in perfect condition. There is a sticker on the inside cover that says "this book belongs to", but it is not filled in. There is some staining on the back cover please see photos.

As New: The book is in the same immaculate condition as when it was published. This could be the description for a book that has been lost in a warehouse for years, never shelved, thumbed or even opened yet may still be some years old.

Fine: A Fine book approaches the condition of As New, but without being crisp. The book may have been opened and read, but there are no defects to the book, jacket or pages.

Very Good: Describes a book that shows some small signs of wear - but no tears - on either binding or paper. Any defects should be noted by the seller.

Good: Describes the average used book that has all pages or leaves present. Any defects should be noted by the seller.

Fair: Worn book that has complete text pages (including those with maps or plates) but may lack endpapers, half-title, etc. Binding, jacket (if any), etc., may also be worn. All defects should be noted.

Poor: Describes a book that is sufficiently worn. Any missing maps or plates should still be noted. This copy may be soiled, scuffed, stained or spotted and may have loose joints, hinges, pages, etc.
