This is a gorgeous white milk glass vase by Westmoreland. The pattern is called Roses and Bows and consists of an embossed grapevine in the milk glass and a pink rose and bow swag. It would be great for spring and summer blooms from your garden. It would look marvelous on a shelf, stand, or windowsill. A fantastic addition to your home decor. The vase would make a wonderful wedding gift.

The Westmoreland Glass Company was founded in 1889 when a group of men purchased the Specialty Glass Company in East Liverpool, Ohio and moved it to Grapeville, Pennsylvania. The company began producing high-quality glass in pot furnaces at its new factory in 1890. Westmoreland Glass was the first to make milk glass in the U.S. and were the originator of the hen on nest dishes that are still so wildly appealing to collectors. Westmoreland's reputation for quality was a factor in the company's survival throughout the Great Depression, unlike many of its competitors. This is why it's among the most valuable milk glass sold today.
This is in excellent condition. It has no chips or cracks. The milk glass is white with no staining.
